ORCID iDs shouldn't be typed to the manuscript. ACS publishes only People ORCID iDs which were effectively confirmed and joined before the manuscript is approved. After your ORCID iD is connected, It will likely be exhibited routinely in all subsequently acknowledged manuscripts for any/all ACS journals.
